The fellowship will focus on the study of the Mediterranean water mass dynamics using principally data collected with gliders. The analyses of glider data will be done in concert with the other measurements (floats, drifters, ships) and remote sensing data (satellite, HF radars). Main results will be published in international journals.
Gross amount for the Research Fellowship: € 21.000,00
Duration of contract: 2 years
The requirements for the admission to the public selection, within the deadline, are:
a) University Degree in scientific field;
b) Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques of oceanographic data;
c) Knowledge of oceanographic measurements;
d) Excellent knowledge of the English language.
