The Science and Technology Ministers’Meeting during the last G7 summit in Tsukuba Japan has produced an important statement on Ocean Observations. Gliders are mentionned : “Utilising and enhancing global glider/autonomous surface vehicle capability to connect open ocean observing and the coastal shelf”.
